Course Description

Try Our Free Taster Session – Music Technology Club! Join our online after-school club for young people aged 11–16 and discover music production, composition, and sound design, completely free in our taster session on Tuesday September 10th. All tutors are DBS certified and trusted to work with young people. Read our Safeguarding Policy (see main menu). Whether learners want to be a beatmaker, producer, singer, rapper, DJ, songwriter, or instrumentalist, this club unlocks creativity through music and technology. Beginners and the curious are welcome to gain hands-on experience making music in a supportive, interactive environment. What is music technology? Music technology covers the digital tools and skills used to create, record, and produce music. It’s used across the music industry and in film, games, advertising, and media. From composition and sound design to mixing and audio editing, music tech helps bring ideas to life and is accessible to anyone with a computer and curiosity. Led by Andrew Ferguson, a music producer, DJ, educator, and founder of Education & Bass who brings over 30 years in the music industry and 15 years teaching across primary, secondary, colleges, adult learning, and alternative provision.
